Traffic Jam: A Horrible Experience Staff reporter, The Bangladesh Today, 10 December 2013: Traffic jam is increasing in Dhaka city day by day. It has crippled life in Dhaka during the recent times. Especially in the pick hours, traffic jam becomes intolerable. With the growth of population in Dhaka city, all kinds of vehicles have increased tremendously. This is the main cause of traffic jam here. Narrow and bumpy roads, roads clogged up with water, inexpert drivers, violation of traffic rules, insufficient number of traffic police, unlimited number of rickshaws etc are also responsible for traffic jam. Getting stuck into a traffic jam, people especially the students and the service holders feel much helpless and frustrated. They cannot attend their responsible fields in time.
